“ What a surprise to find a little spot of European style dining in Channahon! A beautiful night for a patio dinner. Starting with drinks, the Italian Weddjng martini and the Godfather were a big hit. For apps we sample the crab cakes, spanakopita, calamari, and goat cheese dish. I can't say which was better. The marinara with the goat cheese was the perfect level of basil. The crab cake and dipping sauce-amazing. The grilled calamari was perfection. Dinner-steaks, braised lamb, chicken Parm, chicken marsala, homemade pasta and risotto-everything was five star. The atmosphere was laid back, no rush, the owner Maura stopped for conversation and the waitress was attentive but not cumbersome. We tried the Panna cotta and marscapone cake for dessert with some coffee. I am definitely going back. I was hoping for veal, but I was amazingly surprised with the lamb. A true Mediterranean dinner through and through. ”
“ We celebrated our daughter’s new position at work here for a nice dinner. It couldn’t have been better! Food was delicious. We had the lobster, lamb kleftico, country rigatoni and mushroom risotto. It was all delicious including desert. Citrus mascarpone cake. We highly recommend! Michele was our server and fantastic. Even the hostess was great. ”
“ This was our first time eating at Pesciolino. We came in for diner on Saturday. Our server was wonderful and very helpful. Grilled calamari for appetizer was delicious and preferred it to most fried versions I’ve had. The pickled peppers were a very nice touch. Chicken Marsala was tender and the flavors especially with the figs were amazing. The Gnocchi shrimp and lobster chef special was delicious as well. Hands down best place I’ve eaten around this area. ”
“ I was very happy with my meal. I ordered the oysters Rockefeller and bistecca gorgonzola. Both were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Service was excellent as well. I look forward to returning. ”
“ Hidden gem. Amazing food, great service! Took my wife for our anniversary. We will definitely be back. Update: We have been back many times and every time has been an amazing experience! The owners are wonderful! They obviously take great pride in giving you a great experience, they always remember us in detail, and the servers are also fantastic. We have now tried most of menu, including appetizers, and everything has always been top notch, including the bread! Any Italian restaurant worth it's salt must have great bread and stiff drinks, and they sure deliver! We have also tried just about all of the specialty drinks and love every one! This is our favorite restaurant by far! To the very few people that gave them a bad review, you either don't know what great food is, are the kind of people that have to complain no matter what, or have kids running around like this is Chuck E Cheese. This is fine dining! ”

“ We have been looking to eat from Pesciolino for a long time and yesterday finally we gave the restaurant a try. For starters we had Spanakopita and Crab Cakes Italiano. Spanakopita is like a Spinach pie but taste better. It's Spinach and feta cheese between crispy phyllo pastry we liked it a lot. Crab cake is definitely overpriced since it is 19 for one piece of crab cake so we won't order that again. For the main dish we had Chicken Marsala, Chicken Pesto Parmesan and their special Salmon dish. I must say I would definitely return to this authentic restaurant for more Chicken Marsala. My daughter ordered that and I only tried a bit. After trying her food I really wanted to switch plates All the side dishes we chose were amazingly delicious but i highly recommend the home made mash potato and mixed veggies. I give Stars for combination of service, taste of the food and the ambiance of the restaurant but this time I am giving all 5 stars due to the taste of the food which is most important!! Service part was pretty slow unfortunately. ”
